For the past six years, until just recently, I regularly debated politics on a Craigslist forum. Most of the participants knew I was a Christian and would occasionally kid me about it. I never took it personally.
One day, the debate got rather heated. A new member became frustrated and began to put me down. “Yeah,” he taunted, “you're one of those creationists who believe that the Earth is only six thousand years old. You don't know anything!”
"I don't care what you think:", the woman yelled in the ear of the police officer taking the missing persons report at the San Diego police department. "My mother was a Christian, saved by the grace of God, and she lived her life according to the word of God. When you live your life according to what the word of God has to say, and dedicate everything you do to the Lord, and live a life that's filled with sacrifice, God can just take you from the earth - you don't; have to die!"
