Rock the Word Featured
As I woke, the air around me hung heavily as I struggled for breath. A fear gripped my stomach as the memory of what happened hit me again. Throughout the night, my thoughts threatened to overtake me.
The constant theme of religion versus relationship replayed in my mind for three days over the 2010 Friday, Saturday and Sunday services at the Rock as I witnessed the Lord's hand on others. The obstacle of legalism both for Christians and non-Christians is apparent and real.
My daughter, who attends the Rock Church, asked us to accompany her to the Saturday evening Easter service at the church. This was my first time attending one of the services. As we approached the Von's parking lot, we saw the crowds of people lined up on the street, waiting to go in.
