Jackie was laid to rest with a smile on his face
He knew that God had prepared for him a better place
As he laid in the casket all peaceful and calm
The world around him showed little alarm
For they knew too the Lord had called him home
Because the pain in his body was much too strong
We mourned in sorrow and felt sad for his wife
But God took him to heaven to start a new life
Jackie was a messenger of God here on earth
For his soul's worth he performed many services
But now he is gone and he left some of us nervous
A fine man was he with a spirit radiant and bright
His love for his family and friends was pure delight
He ministered and preached to help save souls
The young, some old, and many untold
Without him some of us will wonder what to do
With a smile on his face that says "live your life
And remember that I will always love you."
